View Full Version : Why can't latching switches be used with sound boards?

When deciding on switches, I wanted a latching guarded switch, despite how they are supposed to install from the inside. But when I looked at the switch types, it mentioned that latching switches are not for sound board builds, why is that?

You can use them for *some* sound card builds, but they are mainly for stunt (no sound setups). All of the sound cards can handle momentary switches, so that's mainly what is sold, so that is mainly what is carried in the store these days.

Read through the owner's manual (located in the shop with the card) Page 13 will give you your answer. ;)
