Powder Coating Boxes

Can the boxes be powder coated and the threads still usable? Also, does anyone know what color is closest to the black anodized vandal switches?

You can ask Tim to powder coat the boxes for you. I used a black AV switch with a Box 17 in flat black on one build and thought it matched pretty well:

I haven't tried it but I imagine that the wet black PC would look good as well.
