Hi!

I have a question how do I get this "16mm Anti Vandal Momentary Blue Dot Switch" to work Because now the led is on the whole time. What do I need to do so it works properly as on/off?. Now I have only connected two wires to + and - and that is when it is on the whole time.

We are going to need some additional information about your electronics before we can give you a definite answer. The (+) and (-) terminals on the switch are for the switch LED, and are separate from the switch activation.

Are you using a sound board? If so, which one?

If you're building a saber without sound, do you have the momentary-to-latching converter?

Finally, how do you want the switch LED to operate? Do you want it to turn on/off with the saber blade? Or do you want a different behavior?

I'm not using a soundboard I'm going for a saber without sound

no I don't have that

these are the parts I'm using:

and this is the switch http://www.thecustomsabershop.com/16mm-Anti-Vandal-Momentary-Blue-Dot-Switch-P434.aspx

is it even possible the get this working or do I need the buy something more.

You will need a latching switch with your setup, or else you'll need to hold the button down all the time to keep the saber on.

http://www.thecustomsabershop.com/Momentary-to-latching-converter-45-20V-P929.aspx or http://www.thecustomsabershop.com/MWS-Momentary-to-Latching-Converter-P932.aspx will change your switch type AND let you turn the switch LED on and off with the blade.

If you get the MWS version, you'll just need to connect up the battery to the BAT plug, the switch LED to one of the OUT plugs, the BuckPuck to the other OUT plug, and you'll hook up the SW plug to the C1 and NO1 terminals on your switch.

I hope you have an appropriate resistor for your switch LED, and that your battery pack is at least 5v. The BuckPuck doesn't run well below 5v.
