I don't see anything glaring missing... Are you planning on drilling and tapping the blade holder yourself? Also, resistor for the LED.

I thought that with the buckpuck a LED resistor wasn't needed because it would do that for me, and yes I have drills and taps already so I thought I could do that myself.

You are correct. The 700mA Buckpuck will take the place of the resistor.

One thing: You have listed "2AA battery holder (18650)." The AA battery size is 14500. 18650s will not fit in the AA holder.

Nylon screws are no longer needed to hold LEDs in place on the heatsink. Get the thermal tape pad instead.

Everything else looks fine to me.

First off, Welcome to the Forums!

You are correct, that is what the BuckPuck is for. Also, the AA battery holder (and AA batteries) are 14500's NOT 18650s. Unless you have wire handy already, you probably should pick up some more. Good Luck.

The battery sizing was just my error as I replaced my e-cig batteries, thank you all for your help, good to know my research has paid off and I wasn't missing anything crazy important

My Phoenix Saber has a Red-Orange Blade.

It is the last one I posted on this Thread: http://forums.thecustomsabershop.com/showthread.php?15896-My-Saber-Collection (Right under the Purple LightWhip)
