Curved hilt saber from sink tube

I want to build a curved hilt saber. One of my friends suggested using some of the sink tube in the shop. My questions would be:
How easily does it bend?
What is the best way to bend it?
Is it the same tubing that you could find in a home depot?

You can get 45 degree and 90 degree angle sink tubes from any hardware store.
