This is a saber that I took on a couple months ago from a referral in Australia. After looking at the design on the store's MHS builder, I decided there were 3 different ways to install a board and battery pack while not needing the skills of Cram-Fu to make it happen. I started with basic MHS parts, modded all of them, built the reveal from billet and local hardware store/hobby-shop supplies. This one runs an Igniter R4, Z6 Lux (RR,GG,BB) all ran in parallel, Max-amplified 27mm Rail-master, AW 18650 3.7 Li-ion 2900 Ma battery. And some powdercoat done by my local guy, hope you guys like this interpretation, I kinda think of it as "FrankenFlex"

Well, that doesn't suck. Seriously though, amazing!!! Nice work.

I love having LEDs under the cards, looks great.

If you can reveal the secret: how are you letting light through the glass eye? Are you removing the glass and then using a drill press or lathe and small bit to hollow the 10/32? Daunting.

Very cool. I love the half-revealed crystal chamber and the piping. That's some fine weathering as well, but it makes the choke section look like it was freshly replaced.

Thanks! Hehhee! you caught on to the back-story of the saber...it is well aged and cared for model that has gotten pieces replaced over the millennia (plus I wont copy TCSS thread patterns to make a real brass choke that i was tempted to do). @ MikeC, I just pop the plastic eye out with a small screwdriver, chuck it up in the lathe and drill it out with a very small drill bit, I usually like to use something exotic like a moon-stone, jasper or quartz (the client wanted this one to look original).
