This is a project that was sent to me a couple of months ago in hopes of resurrecting it. One of my repeat clients sent it to me in many pieces and said at some point, someone, tried to hack in a PC2.0.and 2 16340 batteries for a big 600ma of 7.4 volt little runtime. He also mentioned pulling it apart and about 2 sticks of hot glue came out of it! This is how it came, I had to study the original sales thread to understand how the darned thing was supposed to look!
After studying it and removing another stick of hot glue, I decided I will have to make a new top and bottom crystal /board reveal mounting system, speaker mount and a place to inset switches to match the original openings. a new top mount to house 2 tact. switches a 1.3 mm RC port, and be stout and strong enough for the reveal section. The 3 biggest challenges were; #1 making a soundboard to fit in the CC area under the crystal with a good high powered battery(no wimpy little 14500's here folks we need real Powah!), #2 make the sd card accessible with little effort, and #3 make a crystal chamber that would somewhat match the original style of the saber
Specs;
Main hilt; Goodman's PRG that I believe came originally with a Nano board
Battery AW 18650 2900 Ma
Crystal; 3-D printed from Shapeways in Ultra-frosted detail
Speaker; Rail-master 2 watt 8 Ohm, back-vented
