I have my basic saber working, but I wish to add a recharge port. All the diagrams I found are for hooking up to a soundboard. Is this diagram correct? Also will it work with the latching switch, or does that even make a difference?

Are you using a buckpuck? If so a buckpuck will not work with only 3.7v

It seems to be working ok. Do you mean that it won't work once I add the recharge port?

Or will it mess something up in the long run if I leave the buckpuck on?

They supposedly need 5v minimum... guess not

Your wiring looks fine..

They *function* below 5v, but they start exhibiting odd behavior. As the battery charge drops, you'll notice that you may not be able to turn the saber back on after you've left if off for a bit, even if it was running just fine earlier.

The Rebel Green can be run directly from the battery without a resistor or a buckpuck, FYI. If/when you run into issues, I'd consider just removing the buckpuck from the saber.

Thanks guys. I'll take out the buckpuck if it starts exhibiting odd behavior. This is just a temporary setup until I can get a Nano Biscotte anyway. :)
