View Full Version : Finished the Falcon!

Well it's done. It's taken me months (being unemployed), and alot of blood sweat and tears... but here it is.

It has over 23 LEDs on 3 circuts. The engine is part of the LED strip from inside a MR Mace that I converted. The running lights look blue-ish in these pics. They are white LEDs.

I even made a flashing LED circut for a removeable blue LED inside one of the top access ports. It simulates Han or Chewie welding.

And yes - you guessed it... the ****pit glass is from a clear Lee filter.

This model kit is actually pretty common. You can get it almost anywhere for about $30.

Nice, very nice. I love the engine lights, well, all the lights, but especially the engine lights. Who needs a $2700 MR Falcon?
