Luxeon Tri-Rebel Star LED's

Lumen ratings at 700mA
Red/Red/White = 90-90-235 Trying to figure out the White FOC resistor I would need. I am still not good at this. I will be using a 7.4v Li-ion 2600mAh 18650 Battery Pack.

Thanks
Aven

Grab the info on the white Rebel LED from the store page: http://www.thecustomsabershop.com/Luxeon-Rebel-Star-P523.aspx

You have a 7.4v source voltage, 3.1v forward voltage for the LED, and run it at 1000mA. Plug those values into the resistor calculator in my sig and you should have an answer. Remember that wattage is a minimum, you can always use a higher wattage resistor than is listed.

Ok, thank you. I was put off buy the 90-90-235. I want to have a deep red with this one so I need to use my rice to set the mail to 700 mA? For the FOC 4.7 ohm 5 watt resistor from TCSS.

Luxeon Tri-Rebel Star LED's

These are designed to work with the 18deg Tri-Rebel Star Lens and MHS "new style" Heat Sink V3

Each LED is Individually addressed
Prices Start @ $13.25

Lumen ratings at 700mA
Red/Red/White = 90-90-235
Green/Green/White = 161-161-235
Blue/Blue/White = 58-58-235
Royal Blue/Royal Blue/White = 910mw-910mw-235
Red/Green/Blue = 90-161-58
Royal Blue/Green/Red = 910mw-161-90

Red should be ran at a max of 700mA but the other colors are good up to 1000mA

If you wired up the two red dice in series, you will set the current to 700mA with the PC. That would be the most efficient way to do it. Wiring them in parallel would require you to give them 1400mA and reduce your runtime.

Your resistor choice is correct.

"Deep Red" and "Red" are not the same color LEDs. I don't think TCSS is carrying DR/DR/W Tri-Rebels at this time. The regular Reds are a good shade though. I think you'll be happy with them.

So (+) from board to (+) on red die 1. (-) from red die 1 to the (+) of red die 2. (-) from red die 2 back to the (-) board?

Correct. That is how you would wire 2 dice in series.

The top saber with red blade and looking for a super sith font. Maybe Vader by Madcow. I cant order the parts yet because I want it powdercoated but have to wait till the 15th.
