Hey everyone,

I joined the forum a few months back in order to build my own saber but a few things have come up and i have never got round to it. Bit of a background of me, i have never built a saber and i don't have any equipment what so ever (Such as an iron for merging wires).

That said could someone please help me out, i am wanting to build Luke's ROTJ saber and i have tried putting the parts together in the custom builder but i just can't seem to get it right. Can someone please give me a list of which parts i need please? or would kindly copy a link on here to where there is a parts list for this saber?

I apologies for being a noob but i needed the help.

Thank you

Ryan

Hey Ryan,

Welcome to the forums. You will need:

A pommel style 3 v2, and your choice of pommel insert.
A 3" double female extension
A ribbed/choke combo
A Blade Holder style 5.

You will also need a box, electronics, etc. But this should get.you started. Tim can powder coat the parts to give you the finish you want, like the copper neck. Have fun.

That's about as close as you'll get with stock MHS parts. The blade holder has to be deep enough to hold the blade, so you can't make it as thin as the movie prop.

The only thing missing from the parts list is the activation/switch box.

And what about this?

That was NOT made with MHS based parts and that was made by a company many senior people in the community (myself included) would not deal with.

Thank you, the answer, then i have an other question, can i build an ANH Luke Skywalker Graflex, using only just the TCS shop?
The reason why i ask this, because i can't find some parts in the shop, which necessary to build a replica!

With the exception of the Graflex clamp, you ought to be able to get everything you need.
