I love the use of copper on this saber! I'd like to see more copper incorporated into shroud-work for sure. What is the nipple (for lack of a better word) in the middle of the emitter?

If you're referring to the small black dot, it looks like a 2.1mm recharge port that's been flush mounted.

1 1/4 Copper piper type K which has 1.375 outer diameter and close to 1.25 inner diameter.

thats a surprisingly elegant saber well done.i havent mixed with the copper and brass stuff yet but every time i see a well made copper brass hilt it makes me want to try one myself.
