Installed blade length

How far into the hilt do you set the blade once you've got your saber? My blade can be recessed up to 4 inches but I'm not sure how much is needed.

Welcome to the Forums. Normally the blade sits in 2 inches into the blade holders that are here in the store. If you have one that goes down 4" let it go all the way down. You would just have a "shorter" exposed blade, and if that is "too short" for you, you can always just get a longer blade. I don't recommend trying to place the blade "half way" down the the blade holder.
