Can premium speaker touch metal of hilt?

I'm figuring out speaker placement on my current project and have a tight space for the speaker. Is it ok if the metal ring around the outside of the premium speaker touches the metal of the hilt, or will I need to insulate it? I think it'll be ok, but I'd much rather find out about any issues now rather than once it's all assembled. :)

Just dont short the solder tabs to anything. The ring doesnt matter.
