This one is for other German TCSS customers!

I've ordered from TCSS for the first time and I've just got a letter from customs here in Berlin.

Now, how do you declare these goods? (Warencode laut TARIC)
I read about some ugly situations where the customs seized lightsabers because of suspected copyright infringement.
Furthermore I'd like to hasten the whole process and of course minimize the costs!

Many thanks in advance for your input

Not German, but not so far, and I think we would have similar custom rules.

What does you custom letter says exactly?
I would say they just need your order invoice (that you can retreive on your TCSS account page). Then they'll apply VAT and custom fees based on that invoice.
So send them your invoice and a short description of the stuffs you're ordered (I usually says "electronic component, DIY part and misc aluminium parts).

(I actually have to do the same with my last order, it is currently in the hands of French Customs and I've just sent them my invoice. Should be release soon and of course I'll have to pay nice custom fees).

You won't be able to minimize the cost anyway.
I can't see why they would seize anything from TCSS anyway.

Good luck ;)
