Does anyone have any suggestions for free, easy-to-use software for drafting circuit diagrams? I know there are tons of them out there, but I thought I'd check with the forum. Most of the ones I see seem to be hand drawn or done in imaging software. I was looking for something with electronics/circuitry notations. I suppose it's too much to hope for a free one that troubleshoots circuits....

I hadn't used any, but a google search displayed quite a few results.

I use and recommend Eagle (because thats all I know!) lol..

it has GREAT support all over the 'net.. tons of tutorials, plug-ins, community support, extra scripts... and seems to be the 'standard' in most places..

(Eagle free version has limitations on the board size you can make thats all)

There is also Diptrace, I think "Fritzing' also has a circuit design tab....

I do -not- believe any of these have a simulator though..

Thanks guys. I'll give those a try. I've been using LTSpiceIV, but don't care for it much.
