Home-made 1" to 3/4" Reducer?

With the 1" to 3/4" blade reducer sold out in the store, I wonder... has anyone tried making their own from a piece of 1" thick-walled blade? I was thinking about order some of that stock anyway, this would be a nice bonus.

Should work fine. The ID of the thickwalled blades is 3/4". You may need to sand it a bit if the fit is too tight.
