BYB style two is rather close as far as Obi TPM's go.

I tried to get ahold of the owners so I could offer to host the site without banner pop up crap and offer kits to build them.

I really like that idea, Tim. I know that when I first went in search of websites for building sabers, I was at first very excited to find TBYB. However, I became greatly discouraged when I found that none of his links worked, nor had the site been updated since 2001. It wasnt until a few years later, when I stumbled upon this site, that I was like "oh my god! There are other people who do this too!!" So anything to build the world of this hobby/obsession Im all for.

Spread the good word, Tim. Lightsabers for all!!

If you look in the gallery, I have a modified version of BYB style 2.

I looked on sitharchives.com and changed some dimensions to make it more accurate.
Also, I found all the sinktubes at my local Lowes... Hope you can find the stuff you need!

Not to derail the topic too much, but how on earth did you make the pommel? I've been wanting to build an approximation of the TPM Obi-Wan for awhile now, and the pommel is my stumbling block.

Okay here's a short version. What you'll need is the following:

One of these
http://www.usplastic.com/catalog/product.asp?catalog%5Fname=USPlastic&category%5Fname=21316&product%5Fid=13324
In the 1.5" size.

Two of these:
http://www.usplastic.com/catalog/product.asp?catalog%5Fname=USPlastic&category%5Fname=21316&product%5Fid=21189
In the 1.5" size, and three in the 1.25" size (I used only two, but it would look more accurate with three) And three in the 1" size.

You will also need a 1.25" polywasher.

And it seems they are not carrying what I use for the square pieces. It was an extruded acrylic rod, and I used the 1/4" one. Out of this I cut six pieces 7/16" long.
Then you just have to superglue or epoxy it all together and paint. :D
Hope this helps you out.
