make sure the other end of the el wire is not shorted where you cut it

You may want to try to solder to two studs next to each other instead of leaving the one in the middle open.

Did you make sure one of the small wires isn't broken? They both have to be on the other wire coming from the inverter. I see one that looks like it could be broken.

That's damn cool Countdown...

Makes me want to dig up my modles.
I have about 15 "Complete" models ranging from a Shelby Cobra to 1968 Mustang GTs, Chevelles, The General Lee, KITT (3 of them), GTO, Bigfoot, and more.

I was goinf to put Headlights and Taillights in a Mustang once...

Now I can't find all the pieces to it.

A true geek has 9-10 unfinished projects going all the time welcome to the club.

Darnit, I can only think of 6 projects I'm working on, I must not be a true geek. But at least I 'fixed' my saber all by myself. That made me feel proud. If only it hadn't been such a stupid mistake, darn DC components.

Sweet lookin' car, Countdown, great idea and nicely executed.

Dang, I can only think of 7 projects myself. The ones that I actually have enough parts for, that I could be working on. I just finished a project last night, so I can't count that one anymore. :P

The model looks cool, CD, good job.

Yep, and I tried so hard to make sure I did it right, yet it still came out backwards.
