Hi guys I am totally new here and want to start off by saying hi and thank you for all the great information that you have provided here. My friend had an old Ultimate FX that I bought off of him for 10 bucks and b/c I wanted to put the sound board in my first saber to practice getting the wiring down. Now I looked at this schematic and I understand everything but 2 things.
1) I don't want to use a recharge port just normal AAA batteries. So how would that change.
2) What is a Top 42 PNP Transsistor

Sorry this is such a noob question but any help would be awesome!!!!
Thanks again

1. To remove the recharge port, just connect the black wire from the battery to the green wires.

2. A TIP42 PNP transistor is a small electronic component, usually found either online or at your local Radio Shack (or equivalent store). They are not currently sold at TCSS.

For that wiring diagram, yes. They're not expensive, and they're fairly easy to solder into your setup.
