Check out issues. need some help!

Not sure if this is the right place to post this, so if not, mods feel free to move to correct section

While trying to check outat the shop, i was trying to use a gift certificate, but when id put the number in, it was saying that the number was invalid!?!?! I've never used it until tonight when I tried to check out. Its alittle old (December 2011) but it says there is no expiration date. Any help would be great. Id love to order my parts asap!

I tried lol kept saying that my email wasnt properly formatted or some thing along those lines.
