Nova Caine SCS Workshop Donation Saber #2

This is the second time I have made a stunt for NCSC Workshop prize goodness. The first was a PVC stunt. This time, with the help of TCSS (thank you Strydur!!!!), I went a bit more for blang. This is indeed a 1.25" Sinktube-based hilt. I did indeed use the end cap for the pommel...and that is pretty much where it ends. I machined a shroud and "clamp", detail machined the TCSS 1.25" sinktube conversion kit and "pommel-cap" so that it didn't look so much like a sinktube cap. Next, I powder coated the new parts in my Sun-Gold/Trans-Gold mix. I also went with one of my customized switches countersunk into the clamp. I finished it off with a woven leather wrap grip, sanded the sinktube for a nice satin sheen machined and silver painted plastic pommel insert. One last thought, the LED is EPIC bright. I think it is one of the new CREE's...man that thing is bright!

Thanks man. I got the color scheme idea from Cingolo...the Ewok themed saber I just made for Fat Ewok. Funny how one design follows the previously laid path.

This is a really sweet sinktube saber, love the colors and, I don't know man, but I think the sinktube cap makes a great pommel.
