an led, a hilt, a switch, a resistor, an led lens, a blade, and a power source

just buy the basic electronics kit, and design your hilt with the mhs builder. then all you need is a thumbscrew, a blade, and a power source

the battery source would b the battery holder and the batteries right?

doesn't need to be rechargable, with that you need to buy the charger and make a recharge port

That is exactly my point. Just make sure you leave the options open.
