Evening, folks!

So here's a question; is there a way currently to use the Nano Biscotte with the Modular Wiring System? If I sodder on some JST connectors where needed (Speaker, switch, etc), will the sound card work with the other MWS pieces?

Thank you for your time!

Yes, you can solder JST connectors to the NB and it should connect in with the MWS parts just fine. You might need to do a little modification, but I don't think it'd be difficult to do.

It's actually quite simple, now that the common ground JST connector is in stock. You can wire (I think) almost everything off of the board with JST connectors that way.

Aright, so if I have one on order (with several JST wires)

and I want to use a single Li-Ion pack with a Blue RebelStar (http://www.thecustomsabershop.com/Rebel-Star-LED-MHS-Heatsink-Module-P653.aspx) AND wire up a Yellow Momentary Switch (http://www.thecustomsabershop.com/16mm-Anti-Vandal-Short-Momentary-Yellow-Ring-Switch-P617.aspx) my questions are as follows;

What size/power MWS Li-Ion do I get?
What else do I need to recharge said Li-Ion battery, as I see the Tamiya to JST charger adapter and wonder if I need that.
What size MWS buckpuck do I get?

I'm having a hard time with the "numbers" of Saber Building. Power out, Voltage-to-resistor calculations, and what it all means.

But I'm trying to learn, or at least understand.

Thanks guys, for your time and your help.

If you are not going to use a recharge port, then yes you would need that adapter. Assuming you have the space for it, a single 18650 should be good for you. I don't believe you need a backpack for the NB board read through the manual to see how the main LED should be handled.

In the NB manual, I'm sure Erv' put the standard bit in there regarding calculating resistor values. The forward footage values are generally spelled out in the specs for the various LEDs and switches. A blue Rebel has a Vf Of roughly 3.3v +/- .1V.

The yellow AV Vf is 2.1V.

Try going over this tutorial. It should help you figure things out.

....niiiiice.

Is that a recharge port for the battery?

And are there no resistors in that set up?

There should be one for the switch LED (I think). It looks like everything else is just wired JST direct.
