Activation Box 5 + Long AV (momentary) + ribbed section = OK?

Wondering if there will be sufficient clearance for the pins inside, or if it's going to mash-up against the opposite side. :confused:

You should be fine. The boxes add a good bit of clearance over flush-mounting.

Would the short guy work? I probably won't use the integrated LED, so that might be easier.

Short AV switches will work just fine. There's illuminated short AVs in both latching and momentary varieties, so you don't really have to make compromises there. The only limitation to the short AVs vs. the long AVs is that the short ones aren't DPDT. It's not usually a problem.
