I think I have a basic understanding of the chassis disk system, but I was looking for some pics of setups that people have done. I get the use of the acrylic disks but its the others, especially the ones with no holes, that I'm not quite sure about. And also what holds the chassis in place inside of the hilt?

Here ya go, Andy. Start about halfway down the page. http://forums.thecustomsabershop.com/showthread.php?14438-Kali-Vidhvansaka-s-Light-Saber/page2

Also, the disks are the right size to hold themselves in place, from my understanding. Shouldn't be much (if any) movement inside the hilt.

The discs with no holes are blanks for sabersmiths to customize as they see fit. Drill your own holes, cut slots, decorate, etc.

I know you may have got it covered but I was also wondering about the discs and spacing. Here is a link to what I did if that helps. Good luck.
