"Shadow Windu"


Modified Master Replicas Mace Windu hilt. All of the gold pieces have been powder-coated in flat black by our very own LDM and I handled the install and modifications. This saber pays a bit of homage to one that LDM did a few years ago; So, thanks for the inspiration, man! Here we go:

Thanks man! Yes, I'm a stickler for wiring pics when it comes to people like myself who aren't established Smiths. It's easy to wire a saber that looks good on the outside, but terrible on the inside.

Also, are those resisters the ones sold at TCSS? I don't know what they are called, but the only ones I've ever worked with are the cylinder shaped ones, never used the flat-rectangle ones before.

Gorgeous. That Shadow Windu is just mean lookin'. And I love the Weathered MHS. Sandwiched between two Sith builds, she really shines, both in form and color. Simply gorgeous.

I use fluorescent light tube protectors in order to insulate my electronics. You can get them at the hardware store. The small resistors are known as surface mount devices. I use the sometimes in order to save space....cause they are super tiny.

ALWAYS take pics of internals. It not only helps you show progress, it helps to look back just in case something ever goes wrong.

That's right, JediMasterGarcia. It's a very easy mix. You don't need any resistors. Just wire the blue and green dice in parallel.
