Way overpriced, but still cool... I'd actually rather scratch build one though. Hell, I could probably make it into a real droid for that kind of money. Anyone ever seen the full scale radio controled R2 thats out there?

You could make an accurate one that is an RC also for cheaper.

The r2 builders club built a really cool pink one for Albin Johnson's little girl KT-D2

Pretty cool. I always liked R2. He always came through in a pinch. I, too, would definitely consider an RC version before shelling out that kind of money. It'd be interesting to see how that auction pans out.

No problem Devilstar. What are friends for. Oh wait that would mean I would have to have the $6500 to lend. Do you think you can wait till I can sell 130 units of plasma. That should only take me a little over a year to do, but like I said what are friends for. I am feeling a little woozy.

Hell I wish I had the $6500.00 lying around but I think I can be content with my interactive R2 that I picked up at Costco last year for $60.00, it is actually funny i had him going while watching the Original Versions of the Trilogy he was the Surround Speaker and sometimes he would get in sync with the on screen R2.

anybody got $10,000 I can borrow to attend this year's Rock and Roll Fantasy Camp? the featured artists this year include:

-Scott Ian of Anthrax (baddest thrash metal rhythm guitarist EVER)
-Paul Stanley of Kiss
-Steve Vai
-Brian Wilson of the Beach Boys
....and you guys know me, lol...
-Jane Wiedlin of the Go-Go's!!!

for ten G's you get to hang out with them for an entire weekend and write/record music, hit up the bars at night, etc. Someone loan me $10,000 already!!!

Try some of these links:

Or just do a search.

I'm lucky enough to live not too far from Mike Senna who's in the LA area, he's got one of the best RC R2s out there. Every time I see his R2, he's added more to it. The controller for it is amazing, with all the switches to control the servos and things.

A blade like it, yes. The machining quality of the hilt, no way. I don't have any machines in the first place.

I have a Qui-gon-ish MHS that will sate me. It has Corbin's driver and more goodies, but that's a Larbel and no one machines like he did anymore... :(

That buy it now is very decent... If that was available at the same time the Ki-Adi Mundi saber I bought was then I would definately have a Qui-gon LED saber right now :(

I know... that's a darn good price for it complete no less. I can afford it really. I'm just thinking about the other sabers I need to buy parts for. I like building, but I the impulse to "Have it now  " is strong.

A guy in my local Rebel Legion base has one of the EL Larbel Qui-Gon sabers, and it's very nice. :)
