Okay, so I bought a grab bag several years ago along with a few other parts to build my first saber. Unfortunately, my first saber was stolen out of my car several months ago. So I dug out all of my extra parts from the grab bag. I've got: http://www.thecustomsabershop.com/Hilt-style-2-with-guarded-style-switch-hole-P445.aspx this as the main body, though it only has 3 grooves milled into it instead of several all the way up. It also has one switch hole tapped, and another was started, but not finished. Hence why it was in the grab bag I assume.

This choke: http://www.thecustomsabershop.com/MHS-choke-style-1-P211.aspx Which I love. I actually really like adding a choke right before the blade holder, I think it gives the saber a neat look.

And lastly this blade holder: http://www.thecustomsabershop.com/Screw-on-LED-blade-holder-style-5-P185.aspx But, I'm pretty sure this is the older style blade holder, not the "new" type. So would I need to order the older style heat sink to use with a Luxeon? This is the "old" style heat sink if I'm not mistaken correct? http://www.thecustomsabershop.com/Copper-MHS-LED-MountHeatsink-P234.aspx

Or am I even able to mount the newer Luxeon's into an older blade holder? Its been several years since I've been on the saber scene, and there is a lot of new information out there. I'll need to order a new Pommel pretty soon for this second saber, and hopefully I'll be able to make this saber a lot cooler than my original. It was fairly basic in the looks and function departments.

***EDIT*** I tried to change the thread title to make it more relevant to the post, but apparently it didn't work. I changed the title to "Grab Bag Parts Old Blade Holder Question" but it just puts that in bold on my first post. Oh well. Maybe a Mod can fix that?

Ah, sorry about that. Can I still do a trade for another part if someone else wants this? I'll edit my original post.

You'll have to ask Tim, the owner of TCSS, but I'm pretty sure trades aren't allowed either.

Ah darn. I'll go ahead and just edit my post into a question instead. That way the thread doesn't need to be deleted. Thanks Jay-gon Jinn.
