Heya,

Well suffice to say i wasnt fully happy with the last saber i did so....

after throwing parts arround i have finally nailed the saber down to something im very happy with.

and so it begins!!!!!

With Vindictus Mk I of course
7365

And here is Mk II all ready for a fresh electronics wire up.

7366

And the "reconstituted" Pvc Chassis.

7367

Note that i have repositioned the switches and added a crystal of sorts, all be it a small one it still
adds a bit of realism i think.

eagle eyes will notice a small dip swich on one side which will act as a mute switch.

I will mount a speaker - not in the pommel - but to fire into the crystal chamber which should give it plenty of resonance.

Check back for more laters okeeeday!

Yay for more saberyness!

It all fits in
7395

Got the kill switch in the pommel. i just prefer it that way,
mainly cos i dont want an extra 'something' sticking out
7396

All done, Did i a quick bench test and works perfectly.
7397

Last decision will be a sound font to suit.

Glam Pics to come.

Nice weathering. What color will the blade be?

I made a similiar chassis for a economy vader using only a chunk of the plastic tubing on the lightsaber. Works every time.

Thanks for the comments guys. The weathering turned out
Really nice I think. I didn't have access to aluminium black so I used flat black etch primer
And went at it with steel wool.

As far as blade colour goes. I have a delicious green in it but I'm quite partial to a nice amber too

Looks like a reverse sound set up? That's cool.

I like your weathering and how it blends with the layers. The middle ground between new-but-dirty and old-and-beat-up is usually pretty tough to gauge, but you got it. Good stuff, man. :)

If you're looking for "distinct, but understated", I'd say Halcyon... but I'm partial to that one. ;) PM me an email address if you'd like it.
