I was wondering if anyone has tried to convert a Darth Maul lightsaber yet. If so could you explain how you did it? Also is Tim on the job to try and make a conversion kit for the Darth Maul?

It was jtsteph that first did it. He got it up so friggin' fast. I had just heard of people getting theirs and he's got pics of disasembly and lux'in' it up already. For the wiring you should be able to follow the Vader again.

hey guys,

i found jtsteph's original excellent thread with pics here (http://www.thecustomsabershop.com/sabers/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=664&whichpage=1). it doesnt seem to have survived the forum move? i couldnt find it searching here.

anyway, does anyone have any idea how to remove that red power button pin? is there some trick to it? ;)

From what I have gathered you push the pin in, the button is hollow so it just goes into the empty space and the red button pops off, then there is a black round switch that you remove the screw from.

Nope, everything survived the move. That's why if you were and avid visitor you'd realize Tim converted the post database twice.

In fact I get the feeling someone needs to use that handy index thingie. I found this awesome thread under it: http://thecustomsa.web133.discountasp.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=664

It's such an amazing resource, I wonder who we have to thanks for it?

In all seriousness, formatting that index is a pain in the arse. Do me a favor and use it to the point of abuse. :D
