View Full Version : 4-wire cutoff switch (don't want to use)

Hello,

I looked for about an hour elsewhere on the forums for what to do with the four wires for the cutoff/try-me switch on a Hasbro Darth Vader soundboard. I'm not sure if it's 2011 or 2012 model. I would really just like to not use this feature, but am unsure of what to do with the connections. Ignore and leave them empty?

Here's a pic. I just took it out of the toy last night and haven't removed any wires from the board yet.

I would greatly appreciate any help or direction to the appropriate thread.
Thanks.

Here is a video posted by Rhyen Skytracker he shows how to wire 2 jumpers and bypass the switch. http://s416.photobucket.com/albums/pp242/wadeh13/Tutorials/2011%20Econo%20Ultimate%20Board/?action=view&current=DSCN0660-1.mp4
Basically you need a jumper between red and orange wires, and one between the grey and white.
Here's a link to the thread itself http://forums.thecustomsabershop.com/showthread.php?13266-New-Ultimate-FX-vs-standard-Hasbro-sound-comparison
