I know I've seen a description of this somewhere on here, but I can't find it for the life of me... What are the three connections on the end of the battery pack? I mean I know what they are, but which is which? I'd like to be able to block one off and temporarily cut the sound. Is that feasible?
Also, what wires would I have to cut to eliminate the clash sound and the motion sound? I ask because the sounds are way behind the motion and it's kind of annoying. Just disconnect the motion sensor? I want to keep the idle hum and the startup shutdown sounds.

TO get rid of the clash just snip the wires... the same for the motion. That's more difficult though since they are mounted to the board.

Before posting did you check the Thread Index (http://www.thecustomsabershop.com/sabers/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=577)?.

Since you want to disable the sound, take a look at corbins led driver. You could replace the sound board with the driver board, check the FAQ section for more info on corbins driver.

edit: Sorry I missed that you wanted to keep some sound, you might consider a Hasbro sound board and just remove the clash and motion sensors. You will still have power up/down and idle sound.

Yeah you want to mess with the sensors not the speaker. the three connections are two for battery and one for speaker or some such manner. I am surprised that with an MR board that there is a delay, so far I have not noticed it.

i think it would be cool to have a soundless saber from time to time so which pin does control the sound on the bat. pack? once i know that couldn't i just put tape over the pin to destroy the connection?

Yeah, that's pretty much what I asked at the beginning[;)], but thanks everyone for the other info.
