I picked up some laptop batteries and disassembled them to find various types of li ion 18650 unprotected cells inside. Here's a quick picture of the different types. I have at least 5 of each of these "brands"

7019

From L to R we have:

Panasonic CGR18650HGL
Sony Fukushima STG US18650GR
Pale green, just labeled 18650-2200mAh (looks like the 14500 cells I got from allbattery)
Pale purple/pink CGR18650CF, says Li-ion MH12210 also
Red Sanyo MGMFJ12 020882 or in hard to read print: sanyo ur18650fj m32c
Dark purple LGCP218650 F3051028684 DK011C3P2

I've tried searching for specs, but mostly I just see random forum posts from people about mah not max current draw. Since I picked up a CF and want to do RGGB with GG in series and R for FOC I wanted to know would some of these untested batteries be better than the 14650s in the shop? I've worked out my build that I'm still flexible enough to do either 18650 stick pack or side by side 14650s, just some minor changes to things I had planned.

Short story: I have an ungodly amount of these, would they be fine in the CF draw wise? Or should I stick with the shop batteries. I know these are fine for regular setup without a high draw so I'll keep them around for at least that purpose.

Test the first and second type then use what is best.
