I'd be a very happy Wampa if anyone could have a quick look at my list and see if I missed something crucial to the build. Interstellar shipping to the outer rim takes forever, and I'm hoping to get this up here in time for my summer holiday...

The PC2.0 - what main switch is it configured to use as default - momentary or latch? (I wont be able to re-configure it on holiday, so important that I get the right switch)

here goes my first n00b attempt:

Default setting on the PC is for a latching main switch. Nothing is jumping out at me as missing from your list. Possibly some 4-40 hex nuts for your chassis, depending on how you're intending on setting it up.

Ah! NUTS! I forgot the nuts - thanks a lot mate! :) I'll probably get both types of switches so I can swap them later on when I can hijack a computer with Windows on it. The extra switches I can use in a different project - fancy dome bumps on R2 maybe...

Crap! Now the PC is out of stock D:

Maybe I should get a CF directly from Erv? My plan is to get the parts (shipped all the way to Norway, can take ages) in time for my vacation (last week of june++) I'm spending 4 weeks away, but have a small workshop available where I'm going, so a saber attempt would be a Perfect holiday project! :)

you can't just order a CF from erv, he has to have them up for sale on his site first. Be patient with the PC 2.0, it won't be out of stock for long, usually a few days is all it takes to get more.

Ah, I see. I'm used to the turnaround on droid parts, haha. Some of the parts only run every two years :D I'll spend a few days researching then. Thanks for your help so far!

There! Placed the order without the PC - hoping it will come back in stock asap. Swapped the blade holder for the style 22 that came back in stock this morning. Yay! SO looking forward to building something that hasn't got a timeframe of several years! :D
