okay. will the setup that is about 3 from the top here http://www.thecustomsabershop.com/sabers/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=389 eliminate the flashing problem? I used search and didn't find a definite answer, so please help me.

If you use the one that has two buttons, yes. The corbin one will too. The rest that use the output of the Hasbro to run the LED will not get rid of the flash on clash.

To eliminate the second switch you could go with the use of a relay. Use the output of the Hasbro to trigger the resistor. Just like the EL setup.

Oh, nevermind... I was spacing. lol, I was looking at the topic for it and I messed it up there too. You have to have a non-flashing board for that to work.
