Hello everybody,
I’m new to the forum, I’m searching for some post about that but I can’t find it.
I have an Hasbro Anakin not removable blade, one led is not well fixed and makes no light, if I touch the polycarbonate tube it lights up.
My question is if it’s possible and simple to disassemble the polycarbonate tube, the led strip and the foam diffuser to fix the led and after reassemble everything?
Is it worth doing this for only one led?
Anyone have some photo of this?
I don’t need the photo for disassemble the hilt.

Thank you for the answer, I hope is the right section and there is not a double post.

I'm sure you can follow this guide: http://forums.thecustomsabershop.com/showthread.php?3-05-MR-Anakin-Done-amp-kits-available

Find the faulty led and re-solder the bad connection, if that's the case. Good luck!

Thank you Vazan Maceu,

I use this guide for disassemble the hilt.
But I need to know if it's possible and easy reassemble the led strind, the foam diffuser and the polycarbonate tube?

May the force be with you

If it's just a bad contact in the led string, it should be very easy. Every assembly/disassembly task has its risks, though, but you shouldn't have any problems if you take your time and follow the intructions closely.

I agree with you Xanatos that sometimes the scroll effect is so fast, I have the Ultimate effects from Hasbro (cheap toys) and I prefer a slower effect up and down.

Ooooh that's the one your trading down? If so that's not convertable any way, well no kits are made... but in your repair take lots of pics could help someone else out and good luck.

No no, I have an Anakin Hasbro FX with the iron hilt that I have to repair. After I buy olso the toy Hasbro Ultimate.
Today the led works, it isn't a broken led, it depends on the way you touch the tube, if I open I will take a loto of pics :)

I open the hilt, but I have a problem to put out the foam diffuser from the polycarbonate tube.

Do you know what I have to do it?72397240724172427243

You need to drive that small pin out of the blade. Your 4th pic shows it the best.

thanks.

I understand, but how? There is no another hole on the opposite side and I can't catch it because is too much inside the polycarbonate tube.

IIRC it will punch into the tube but not all of the way through. Then the guts of the blade will slide out.

Did you mean with an hammer and a nail?

Hammer and whatever works, if you have punches they'll work better than a nail. But they'll do.
