Hi everyone, I'm working on my first saber and I've put leds in my bubble strip. My question is, do I need to add resistors to the accent led footpads? Anyone's help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.:D

After careful reading of the CFv5.1 user manual I would say you need resistors for the accent LEDs. If you are not comfortable with the tiny resistors then bridge the pads and add the resistors in-line to the LEDs.

Awesome, thank you.

Great. We have ARKM (me), Arkhan and now Arkhand. As if it wasn't confusing enough, lol.

Arkhand, for the love of George Lucas, please don't start making blade plugs or kill keys, lol.

From the book of the word of Erv': "Always use a resistor™"

Yes, you need to at least bridge the resistor pads and add in standard resistors...
Or, you need to add SMD resistors like so:

Thanks guys, I got the 0402's and installed them. Wow, those were small lol! Just waiting for my order to get here from TCSS now, and then assemble it :D
