Ok, it's no secret around here (especially to those of you that frequent the chatroom [:p]), that I'm a big Go-Go's fan...or more specifically of that adorable little pixie-punk guitarist of theirs, Jane Wiedlin:

What's not to like? She's a great musician, is so cute it should be illegal, and she's also just as big of a Star Wars geek as anybody here. What more could you ask for in a chick? She finally got the MHS saber that I sent her as a present a few weeks back (which she of course loved...said she almost peed herself from excitement), and about a week later I got this in the mail from her as a thank-you:

She hasn't posted any pics of herself posing with the saber, but as soon as she does I'll of course link to 'em. BTW, thanks to UltraSWG for the nice deal on the saber (yer a lifesaver, dude...especially considering this was in the middle of the "Saber Parts Drought of 2006, lol). Ok, I'm done gloating now. Sorry, I know I drive some of you nuts with this, but I've had a crush on Jane for a long freakin' time. I'm just stoked I can be the first to bring Lux saber coolness to the celebrity realm.

That is cool. [:D] I like the Go-Gos too.

You hadn't seen those spoons before? Maybe you're not a sugared cereal eater. [:p] They were out last year before Revenge of the Sith came out. I got all 3 colors, green, blue and red. [^]

Awesome since there were very few Green ones the majority where red and blue, actually no some one that took a couple of them apart to make a Holoprojector out of a Bubble Gum Tape Dispenser. Oh don't get me started on the Go Go's got to see them during there early 90's reunion tour, by far hands down Jane will always be my favorite, she is just the cutest. I still have Blue Kiss(with the lead singer of Sparks) and many of their songs on 45's.

I thought it was hilarious. Da Brat was calling her a has been and everything, but I'm sitting there thinking "Well... Hello... You're on the show too... Derrrrrrrrr...." I liked the chick from the Go-Go's, she was cute and had a cool voice. Da Brat, on the other hand, seems like shes one step away from prostitution. [;)]

i don't think so, her fans send her gifts all the time. She's a big SW geek just like us...she's got toys, reads all the EU books, and has been featured on Star Wars' official site.

oh, "Blue Kiss" wasn't with Sparks...that song was called "Cool Places."
"Blue Kiss" is just one of her solo tunes...unless the guy from Sparks sang on it as well. I don't believe he did 'tho.

well, she was a fashion-design major in college, and is always sporting something unique onstage. guess it depends on if Tim's gonna make any girlie punk rock kinda shirts or not, heh...Jane'd probably make it girlie and punk rock herself, actually.
