MWS issue.

i know i saw a thread before on this, but i cant seem to refind it. was hoping to get some answers from Tim or anyone that has used the MWS.

when connecting the switch to the ctrl/ref wire after a couple power ons/offs the led just lights up barely and you can't turn it "off" without removing the batteries.
i know this is an issue when using those from the buck to the switch, my question is, is it cool to just clip those wires off the buck and just run the switch normally.
or should i leave those wires be and then wire the switch normally?

The problem is voltage below about 5v. I have not decided exactly how I want to address this yet. Yes you can just wire a switch normally and clip those wires short and tape them off.
