Hi guys. I am new to these forums, but not really new to saber building. I have modded, and in some case rebuilt the hilts for several MR sabers. Now I have discovered the Modular Hilt System! I have picked out my parts: 7" fluted double female threaded connector, choke style 1(short), pommel 4, and led blade holder 9(new style). This is where I could be getting myself in trouble! Several years ago, there was a kit came out to build your own saber. Included parts for several hilt configurations, several emmiters, etc. The fun part is-by flipping a switch, you could CHANGE THE COLOR! Red, blue, or green. I am hoping the guts will fit inside the MHS parts I have chosen. I am not putting in an on/off switch( I broke the original one, and a buddy jumpered the connection. Now, you turn it on and off by placing/removing the battery pack. If the parts actually fit, I may back track, and get a handle with a switch hole, and retro-fit it. Has anyone out there tried anything like this? The guys at Custom Saber Shop have been MOST helpful with dimension questions(thanks for your patience) but I would like to hear from anyone with ideas. I could use interior dimensions for the pommel, and the choke. Many thanks.
