Color scheme:

White shroud on aluminum parts. I'm having a hard time debating on color scheme, and if I need to get any parts powder coated prior to ordering.


Innards:

* Rebel Star Green LED
* 6v battery pack
* Petit Crouton - Light Meat
* Crystal Chamber in choke

Parts:
* Activation Box 4
* Pommel style 4
* 7" Double female threaded connector
* Choke style 1
* Blade Holder 8
* 12" MHS Sleeve
* Covertec Clip (debating on color)
* DPDT Green Illuminated Switch



Thoughts and suggestions always welcome. Also, if you do 3D rendering or decent with photoshop, I'd love to see this in different colors schemes.

Sweet! Thanks, Boj! Yea this being my first sound and CC i'm expecting a bit of a cram-fu of wiring on this.

For a PC I would recommend you use a rechargable battery solution. If not a Lithium Ion setup, using 4 NiMh cells for 4.8v would be preferable over standard alkalines. Having a recharge port to cut power when removing the SD card is many times more helpful.

Duly Noted. Was wondering about that. Maybe a couple 18650's. I just worry on space, as well as with Activation box 4, where I could put the other switch, and the recharge port. Maybe they could incorporate the covertec clip w/ a recharge port for the screw.

Now to attempt a wiring diagram... :/

White shroud, gold pommel + insides. If you want green, have the box in green. Personally id have it gold or heck leave it bare so its not too bling.

i'm liking the sun gold on choke and pommel, white shroud, and black covertech clip. Just need to have Tim do some custom work on the choke before PCing. Or I could just paint and bake. meh.

looks really good. seeing the colors help alot, but still makes me torn on what to do.

Good call on not hiding the choke. Try fitting your control box over the overlay before cutting a window for it. You might find the look and less work favourable. They even fit on MHS sleeve leaving a very small gap since the curve is meant for bare MHS.

Will do, CC. I'm guessing Tim will do cutouts for me on the choke before PCing, correct? Might just have to email him on that.

I'm sure your CC window could be done in either order depending if you want to show aluminum or PC'd edges where the window is cut. Ask or specify either way for sure because I believe it is an option.

Those designs fail to show the difference in thickness btw.

You should redo them (i add 2 pixel top, 2 pixel bottom to show the thickness of MHS sleeve material).

So i'm thinking of the following for colors:

Brilliant Brass: pommel, choke, blade holder, activation box
Matte Black: 7 inch extension
Bright White: Shroud

my only concern is with the PCing on the choke and BH, as with the cuts to the shroud on the BH, would show 2 colors, unless I could paint/bake the black on an already PC'ed piece.

I want the black on the bottom of the BH and top of choke:

Another note: Not sure with a Petite Crouton, I need 2 switches. Activation box 4 only houses 1. What can I do with the second switch?
