the 40 inch blade, 40 inch diffuser, aluminum adhesive disk, half ball endcap, some kind of glue for the tip. i don't know how you build it unfortunately[:(]

stick adhesive disk on tip..glue on tip..slide in diffuser. Cut it to length first of course.

A hacksaw works...but a dremel is far more level and clean.

Also, Tim's stock 40 inch blades come with a "lip" on either end. You can either hack both off, or use one end for more space to glue on your tip so it gets a better grip.

Polyvinyl Chlorate glue would most likely not work on Polycarbonate blades.

Plus, PVC glue is colored, usually purple.

What search engine are you using? I found 3 places, using Yahoo Search.

Tapplastics has it for $11.50 per pint.

Here's something interesting that another site has:
"Do you live in Southern California? This glue is illegal to use in Los Angeles, Riverside, San Bernardino and Orange counties by the Air Pollution Control office. Please choose Weld-On #4."

This place has 4oz cans for $6.73:

I already had a tube of Weld-on 16, so that's what I've been using, seems to work fine, it's just thicker.

Derailment. No derailment here. Never even heard the term. I don't even know what it means. We never derail anything around here. It is all very informative saber specific posts around here. Much like this one.

Sabers are cool and look cool too. Oh yeah and they come in pretty colors.

(I had to include some saber talk to prove this was a nonderailment post.)

I believe that we must take every led and find out the exact mathmatically correct lumen output for each. I volunteer my retinas for the job. Then we can truly know which one is the brightest. Now as far as the prettiest color someone else will have to donate their retinas for that scientific test.
