Polycarbonate blade weight?

Just a quick question. I've been thinking about replacing my current PVC tube blades that I have for the sabers currently in my small collection, simply because I think the weight kind of off balances the whole saber. Would either the thin walled or thick walled poly-c blades be any lighter in weight than a pvc tube?

Both would be lighter but thin walled is your best bet. Also, shoot for a shorter length (say 32") that will save quite a bit of weight.

I'm actually sticking to a longer length because, since they'll be stunt blades, they'll be running through he entire hilt like I have the PVC ones doing now. Thanks for the input!!
