Cram Fu and general length?

The attached image is what I'm starting to build. My current question is about what length it should be and about how much length would I need for electronics (PC) and all that?

I'm going to be using the chassis disks heavily for a couple modifications in the two con-caved sections that will include lights and cutouts. So I'm left with the center area for all the cramming. Any suggestions?
