Yes that's what I'm talking about. Fables jedi and sith tales like tales about Tulak Hord, Marko Ragnos and famous jedi and sith battles. Their struggles and personal conflicts. If you get my meaning. If this sticks I may post a jedi legend I started myself.

It's a little different but okay. Every thousand years a rainbow colored crystal forms and bonds to a jedi. The crystal known as the Lew crystal, triples its master's force power once found and used as a focusing crystal in the master's lightsaber. A Lew Jedi can get the crystal to produce any color blade(s). The crystal pulses the rainbow color along the blade when the lightsaber is on if a sith is near for ten seconds. It's said that the Lew Jedi will help to bring a peace to the galaxy not seen since the beggining of the Republic. Not since the first three Lew jedi all found their crystals and worked together to solidify the new republic had such a peace been seen. Their names were Brianna Marr a miraluka who possesed the first Lew crystal which was 2000 years old. She used her Lew crystal to give her double bladed lightsaber yellow blades. A human named Bail Nasa who possesed the 2nd Lew crystal used his crystal to give his double bladed lightsaber silver blades. Last but not least a wookie named Crainbacca who used his crystal to give his double bladed lightsaber orange blades. Their battles many and their victories as many their names are still spoken and their battles remembered in the order today.

Ok. This isn't a legend, but it's the back story to a sith character I created off-the-cuff for a star wars party I had a couple of years ago. (By the way, I have no concept of the expanded universe, so I've completely made up all filler data, based on nothing buy my imagination.) Here it goes:

Darth Rachnius...

is a Sith Lord originally from the planet Wen Kroy . Formerly the Master Jedi Petra Rekkrep during the time of the Trade Wars. He crash landed when he ran into an asteroid field. The planet Wen Kroy was a cold and desolate arctic-desert planet with only sparse life. All of the life that there was drew its strength from the darkside.
Master Petra called out in the force across the galaxy for help from his fellow jedi, hoping for rescue. But no one came. What would have been a distress call easily heard by anyone who could use the force, was lost in the many cries of anguish from a galaxy at war. Master Petra succombed to despair because of his plight and blamed the Jedi council in his mind for sending him unnecessarily to the Outer Rim region to look for enemy forces. His spaceship destroyed, suffering from the cold, and starving to death he searched for food and shelter but found little. Finally, near death, Master Rekkrep cried out... and the dark side answered. The dark side gave him the ability to "call" small creatures to himself from miles away for food. It led him to a wind cave that offered at least some shelter from the cold. He began to take pleasure in the taking of the small lives. As his abilities increased he called larger creatures. He grew to enjoy ending life so much that he created ways to get more enjoyment from killing. He would bite and tear into the throats of the animals he killed and drink their blood, killing them slowly. The darkside catered to this perversion and he slowly grew fangs so that he could more easily drink their blood and claw-like black nails for fighting and holding those that put up a fight. He also learned to drain any force energies from their bodies before eating them, to accelerate his powers. As his worn robes became rags, the elements began to affect him more in his cold cave. He slowly developed fine black fur over most of his naked body. His pupils grew red and his eyes became sunken in as the darkside took its toll on his features. As his powers grew so did his ambition. He called thousands of creatures to him, not for food, but so that he could drain their energies to feed his powers and his perverted love of death and suffering. After six years he had destroyed all life on the planet. Using the force, he called to the minds of the crew of an republic patrol vessel. When they came to his planet he slaughtered them all and took their ship. He flew to Korriban, the home planet of the Sith, to learn all he could about the ways of the Sith and to search for anything that would increase his power. After gathering every bit of ancient sith knowledge and every artifact he could, he set out to carve a path through the galaxy until he had had his vengeance on the Jedi and anyone who stood in his way...

Dang DS that is a heck of a lot better then the back story I did for my Halloween character a few years ago.

[:I] Thanks. I don't like to toot my own horn, but I enjoy compliments as much as anyone. If you take a person and subject them to too many years of HBO, videogames, and playing army, you get some of the mad stuff that my mind conjures up. It's just nice that some people find it cool.

I could, I guess. It's just one of those many unfinished things in my life, and it's not a priority. At some point in the future I'm called to write. If I do it will be a noble venture like apologetics, probably. Thanks for the compliments.

off and on for about 3 months. Its hard to find the time to sit quietly and think it through. I have no idea how long it will be as it is on its own track right now. I think another 10 to 12 pages might get me to the ending I had in mind.

I have a short story and write ups for Tenric, Shadowspawn, and SomaIII as well as another story in progress that recounts the creation of his lightsaber......
