Ferroutous V3 "Faust"
Some of you will recognize parts of this saber. The shrouds and switch were originally made by Sithlordfaust before he left the Community. I owned the saber for about 2 years and always wanted to get around to "sprucing it up". I thought I would go with MR sound and just blow it out, but as I worked with it I changed my mind and decided to go all in. His shroud work deserves nothing less IMO (although I did weather them). What you see is the third Ferroutous (c) saber. Why is it a Ferroutous? Well, it is bronzium weathered, huge, and has a green spectrum blade. I took the weathering one step further and it is, in fact Oxidium (c) weathering. The origin of the coined term "Oxidium" is Oxidized Bronzium (c) for those who give two cruds about such things. I also really loved his switch solution and absolutely had to preserve it...so I did. I have further refined my Reverse Sound (c) speaker mounting method. It took me having machine skillz to do it, but I love the evolution of the process. LED color? It could only be Cyan (specifically BIN2) with a matching stained Crystal Pommel (c). I machined the heck out of this thing and as a matter of fact, the BH came from the original Gladius saber way back when. It has a windowed Luke/M. Windu-ish feel and is my chief contribution to this saber's Chi. Top it off with my favorite font of all time and call her DUN. Enjoy ;)
