My project that will take a loooooong time.

Soon I will own a royal blue mace windu. I will then try to earn some money and around this winter I will buy another windu but in red. Also I will purchase the coupler for the windu's and a couple light's that go inside the coupler in purple. If you haven't put it together by now I am going to have one side evil, one side good, and a middle that's neutral purple. I might also paint the gold parts to the alignment color changing the evil to chrome red and good into chrome blue. Again this will take forever probably and cost me a lot of cash. Do you guys have any advice or products that will help or any opinions? I know it's a stupid topic but It will be my main saber and I will never sell it. What do you guys think of this idea? Oh, and another thing, the reason I'm using windu's is the chrome yellow which is the gold that would look good as red and blue colors and because it's looks pretty good for making a double bladed saber due to being rounded on the whole hilt. Also, the soundboard on the AOTS mace do not reapeat the same sound twice plus the sounds are in a good variety. What are your thoughts on this project?

Sorry for the double post but I just found out that it will take a month for the saber I ordered yesterday to arrive... Oh well, it's not ultra's fault, he just has a LOT on his plate for people going to some convention, I think it's dragon con. So at least I'll be getting both my sabers near the same time I guess. I get impatient though so you'll probably see me getting frusterated from the wait. Again, it's not ultra's fault at all.

It kinda sucks though to wait forever. But oh well, I guess it won't hurt me. At first I thought "I wish I could revoke buying it from him and maybe get it sooner from this other guy on ebay", but then I remembered that ultra's saber's are top of the line and are high quality. Plus they have a warrenty that if I simply don't like my saber, I can return it and get all my money back.

I know I'll probably finish it by the end of the year. I'll go crazy and post vids and pics of it. I will never sell this saber, it's going to be PIMP too. I could have chose any hilt but I chose mace windu's for both ends due to it's switch activation and it's roundness allowing me to sping it without scracting my hands on switchboxes. Do you guys think my decision was okay do use mace windu's or what would you have used?

i would of gotten two maces too because of the switch location and that there is no control box.
over two maces i would of gotten a double maul and modded the hilt a TON so it didn't even look like a maul

Yeah, but with a maul I can't get a holo coupler that you can put LEDs in that look like focusing crystals. I'm putting in purple because it's in between red and blue. I may also pick up a green set because I'll have the trinity of colors if I want.

Yeah, but I don't have any tools to do that sort of thing. Plus I'm trying to keep it simple allowing anyone who sees my saber and likes it to get one themselves easily, I'll even provide link to where I get the stuff. Also, mauls seem to be hard to duel with if I use them in single hilt form, their okay for a lot of people but maul is more my style.

Because the saber I'm gettin from ultra uses the AA setup and I just wanted to have good voltage. My plan is to get both saber's all set up from ultra having the AA setup, MR driver, and MR sound. Then, next year around this time I'll invest in 2 3W drivers and a soldering iron upgrading them a little bit. But for now I'm just making the 1.0 version with everything from ultra, then when I get and install 3W driver's next year, It'll be called 2.0 . After that, I don't know what else I'll do, maybe there will be louder speakers available next year and I'll upgrade once again. I know it's all confusing but it's hard to explain.

Yep, right now I'm getting one of the sabers in royal blue, then this winter I'll get the coupler with purple LEDs inside and the other saber in red. That will be 1.0 after that I'll wait a while then upgrade to corbin's driver on both ends. I may also purchase some paint supplies for it and maybe a dremmel tool. But in the 1.0 I want to start out with stuff that everyone can get a hold of and make themself then customize to my liking making a the only saber I'll ever need.
