I've converted a Hasbro Obi TPM saber already, so my question is specific to the LED bezels (http://i291.photobucket.com/albums/ll317/drdicarlo/Obi%20Hfx/TCSS%20Conversion%20Tutorial/Modified%20Pix/102_3751.jpg). In LDM's tutorial, you simply scrap them since you'll use the screws from the conversion kit to replace them anyway. I've seen saber conversions elsewhere (http://www.fx-sabers.com/forum/index.php?topic=20272.0) that keep the LED bezels. When I initially did the conversion, I tried to unscrew them with some pliers, but it didn't work and scratched them like crazy, and I ended up scrapping them. I was wondering if anyone has found a good way to keep these intact for later use? To me, they're a defining feature of the saber look and I want to keep them if possible. Thanks.
