New Style Heat Sink Question

Forgive me if this sounds like a horrible question/request. I just received my MHS parts for my first build and it looks like the heat sink (New Style) doesn't fit due to the on/off switch. I'm wondering if I mounted it incorrectly. Can someone post a picture of the led installed to the new style heat sink? Should the LED be mounted to the wide end with the threads or the longer thin end? Any help would be appreciated.

Perfect. Much appreciated. And DOH! I installed the LED to the end of the heat sink as shown on your 3rd picture (the skinnier section at the top). Looks like I should have installed it to the other end.
